Flow at Cleveland Clinic Florida Art Exhibition

This exhibit is part of the Cleveland Clinic Florida Arts and Medicine Program that has been created with the purpose of enhancing the experience of all who come to Cleveland Clinic Florida for their care, to practice and investigate the use of the arts in healing and to build community arround the arts, health, and medicine.

Artist Statement:

"Follow your heart to create rippples in the world."

In April 2023, my dad passed aware after his slow mental decline of Alzheimer's and aphasia brain disorders - eventuallly leading to his inability to communicate verbally, yet living in the moment. I'm grateful for the time spent with him listening to his favorite music and dancing with him. It was heartbreaking watering his frustration to communicate and his memories slowly fade away. 

One donation can start a chain reaction 25% of sale profits will support research brain disorders. No famly should watch their loved ones suffer from this horrible illness. 

My 2023 art collection Flow is a reminder that some experiences in life are out of our control, we must learn to go with the flow and remain in the moment to capture memories with our loved ones. 

While we have control  of our minds, the food we eat, the people we love and how we choose to show up in the world.
